General Information
This vibrant Catalan town just 8km from the villa is steeped in history and has something to offer everyone. There is wide variety of shops, restaurants, pizzerias and gelaterias situated around the historic old town with ramparts, character cobbled streets and piazzas. The shops offer the best selection on the island and there is a weekly market with fresh local produce.
Alghero is fronted by a 5km long white sandy beach with clear sea, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. There is an old port and new marina offering boat hire and boat trips to Capo Caccia and Neptune's Caves.
